Delete your data

aharoam is made by Gesiyuan Ltd. This page explains how to delete the data we hold for the aharoam Android app.

In the app (fastest)

1. Open the aharoam app.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Tap Delete my data.

Confirm, and the app will erase your installation identifier, usage counts, and any pass bound to that identifier from our service, then clear the saved translations and identifier from your phone. This needs an internet connection: if our service cannot be reached, nothing is deleted on either side and the app will tell you.

By email

If you no longer have the app installed, write to [email protected]. Include the email address you bought with, or your activation code if you have one, so we can find the right record. We will confirm when it is done.

What is deleted

• Your randomly generated installation identifier.
• Usage counts and quota state tied to that identifier.
• Any active pass bound to that identifier.
• Saved translations and the identifier stored locally in the app.

What is kept, and why

• Payment records. Stripe keeps records of any purchase under Stripe’s own retention rules. We do not store your card details.
• Email sent to us. We keep the message long enough to complete and confirm the deletion.
• Technical logs. Short-lived server logs from our hosting and security providers may remain for a limited period to operate and protect the service, but they do not contain the text you translated.

Translation text is not retained on our servers in the first place: it is sent, translated, returned, and not written to logs or stored.

Retention

Once deletion is confirmed, the data tied to your installation identifier is removed from our service. Payment and email records are retained only as long as required by the provider or by law.
